Mom's being a total slacker with the pictures. We'll get some up soon. She's also decided that when I turn 2, this blog will go the way of all things. Just have to make it till then.
So...new stuff from me.
I'm saying a lot more now - pretty much Mom's the only one that can understand me, and my language involves a lot of pointing. I love to ask her "what's that" when we're out and about. This must be paying off, because despite the fact that she's not "teaching" me anything, i picked up a circle shaped block today and said "circle". wow.
I'm still a cuddly little girl, but I'm growing up too. I can be pretty rough and tumble with sister, but I also love to take care of my baby dolls.
I got to go to a playground recently, and totally conquered the big kids big metal slide. No fear here.
I get frustrated a lot when people don't understand what I'm saying, but we're working on it, it's a process. a long suffering process.
I want to do everything willow does, which unfortunately gets her in trouble a lot, but she's really sweet to me, and teaches me lots of things. She'll also smell my rear to see if I've pooped. Ha!
I can almost ride her tricycle - I'm pretty much tall enough, but the coordination of my feet on the pedals is not quite there. I love doing it though, and don't want any help.
When I'm naughty, mommy makes me say "sorry". the other day, i had a fit for AN HOUR before i would say I was sorry. But as soon as I did, I was a good kid again (i can be such a stinker with the fits) - willow said she forgave me, and we shared a sweet hug (that's our post-being-naughty routine). since then, as soon as i get sent to time-out, i'll walk over to willow and say sorry right away. ha!
we're getting ready to go to san antonio for easter - daddy can't join us b/c it's not his spring break. i haven't decided yet how i'm going to behave on the plane. good news is i'll have my own seat with my car seat in it - strapped in and stuck! willow's already planning the toys she's going to pack for us.
well, i suppose that's it for now - we'll try to do something about that picture situation.
