Some Pics

Yes, yes, mom has been a slacker.

Life is good - I'm a baby - not much to tell (altho' I'm LOVING my new ergo!) - I'm really into laughing and cooing at Mommy and Daddy, and enjoy getting kisses from Willow.

So, some pics of me sleeping (because that's when Mommy remembers to grab the camera)

and one of me awake...

A Special Gift

I got this in today's mail... it was handpainted by one of Granny's adult students.

Isn't it cute!

Dr. Visit

I had my 2 month check-up today.

Weight - 13 lbs 0.5 oz - 95%
Height - 24 inches - 95%
Head - still normal :) - 88%

I had to have a lot of medicine today. Yuck. But I did very well, and soon after getting my 3 (!) shots, I took a couple of drags off the pacifier, and went right to sleep.

2 month picture

So here's the results of the second attempt at a 2-month picture...while cute, you can see I wasn't that into it...

so here's the official picture...

Pictures

So Mommy's been trying to get a good pic of me for my 2 month picture... here are some of the out-takes. She may or may not try again - just depends...

Thank goodness our weather took a turn for the better - nothing like a 35 degree drop in 2 days :) which means I can wear this cute outfit maybe once before it gets warm again and I outgrow it...

Here I am checking out the Bumbo seat. Still not quite ready as far as my neck strength, but I definitely am not too small for it.

The Saga of the Playmat

This story starts a few weeks ago with Mommy in a de-cluttering frenzy. Things were de-cluttered, including an infant gym that Willow had (via a yard sale for $5). Mommy was not fond of this play gym, and thought "hey, if Rose ever wants to use one, it should be easy to find another one when the time comes."

HAHAHAHAHA

Apparently, infant gyms (or playmats as Mommy calls them) are made of GOLD, and thus very expensive to buy, and even pricier to ship.

Mommy was sad. She even went back to the thrift store to see if they had the play mat that was Willow's. No go. (but not surprised)

In a last ditch attempt, Mommy posted to freecycle that she wanted one.

*heavenly choruses sing*

A woman replied to Mommy's post, and today I got my play mat. It's better and nicer looking than Willow's was, and it was FREE. (minus the cost of gas to go pick it up)

Yay!!!

My sadness in these pictures is only b/c I'm hungry - trust me, I'll like this play mat.
