More Smiles

There are two main things that make me smile right now - Daddy and my bouncy seat.

Chillin' on a humid day in my cradle, sporting former Willow-wear in the 3-6 month size. That's right, I'm bulking up fast!!



I'm looking pleased with myself because I've been sleeping for 5-6 hr stretches at night now for a few nights. Go me!

This Morning

I didn't get to do anything at Linvilla except sleep, but here's a pic of me anyway. Mommy calls this "The Anatomy of a Fuss". Maybe if Mommy had just picked me up instead of taking my picture...

Goings On

Just in case you were wondering, I have NOT repeated my 5 hr stretch, but I did have a 4 hr stretch last night, which Mommy is pleased with.

I'm still growing. I don't do much yet. There's a lot of sleeping, diaper changing, and eating in my day.

I am starting to smile and laugh/make cooing sounds to Mommy and Daddy. They are very pleased with this, and will sing me stupid songs to illicit more of these responses. Mommy even tried rapping at me last night to get me to smile. The first time was funny, and I smiled/laughed. After that, it was just sad. Come on Mom, get with it!

My legs and arms are super strong. SUPER strong. I enjoy lifting my head, and occasionally pushing up on my arms during tummy time.

Hooray!

In honor of my 5 week birthday today, I slept (or rather let Mommy sleep - who knows if I was sleeping that whole time) for 5 WHOLE HOURS last night. WOOHOO!!!!! Mommy was so refreshed this morning :)

Baby Dedication

I got baby dedicated today at church. Here we are before we left the house this morning. Notice that my dress has roses on it. How lovely. This was actually one of Willow's baby dresses, but still so appropriate. :)

Afterwards, there was a lovely lunch, of which Mommy took no pictures. But you can imagine it...good food, good friends...

Bouncy Seat Goodness

Mommy finally pulled out the noise making part of my bouncy seat, and I'm really diggin' it! It makes noise, er... music and lights up when I kick my feet. Too cool. Also good - the noise making part turns off and easily removes from the bouncy seat. This makes Mommy happy.

Tummy Time

1 month old

I'm a month old already - wow! In honor of this glorious day, I got to go to the Dr. Yippee.

I now weigh 10 lb. 15 oz. Holy cow! If you're keeping track, that's more than a pound in 2 weeks again. Go me. (93%)

I'm 22 inches long. (86%)

My head is still normal (yay!)

The Dr. said I looked fabulous and was doing great. (of course I am)

My First Trip to the Shore

Granted, I didn't see much of it as I was either in a sling or under a blanket in the stroller...but I could smell the sea air, and that's a good thing too...
